Meet the Leadership Team
Our team is composed of veteran travel experts with a deep knowledge of American culture and France hospitality. Philippe, Pat and Patrick joined forces to form the leadership team of a boutique online vacation rental agency, Paris For Rent. Together, they turned the company into a thriving business, eventually leading to a joint venture, World Guests Abroad, to expand to new destinations their proven formula of thoroughly curated, quality properties with active support on the ground. This new web-based company comprises three online portfolios: Paris For Rent, Haven In, and Paris Luxury Rentals.
Philippe Pieri
Co-FounderA California adoptive son and Silicon Valley tech practitioner, Philippe lived in the Champagne area and Paris before moving to the US to ride the tech innovation wave. Before starting a 20-year career as a digital marketing executive in large and small technology companies, Philippe co-founded in 1998 Paris For Rent and Paris Luxury Rentals which eventually came under the umbrella of World Guests Abroad with the acquisition of Haven In oepning new destinations. Philippe oversees all aspects of business development, digital marketing, and technology. He recently relocated to Paris and Southern France to strengthen existing vacation markets and focus on new destinations.
Pat Combrisson
Co-FounderBorn in Paris to French parents avid for art, science and culture, Pat spent much of her childhood and teenage years roaming the city for art exhibits, performance shows, unique shops and antique finds, and of course for food. She moved to the US, got a BA in international relations and settled in San Francisco, California where she owned a French bistro for 7 years. Pat is now in charge of sales. An avid sailor and lover of the sea, she has been raising a family on Maui, Hawaii for the last 5 years. Her ties to France and Paris remain very strong and she returns there at least once a year.
Patrick Rech
Co-FounderPatrick was born and raised in Paris and later moved to San Francisco after completing his college education, just in time to witness the rapid growth of the internet revolution. With an extensive experience in vacation rentals, Patrick has become an expert in customer service and property management. He is also passionate about urbanism, travel, sustainability, food, and wellness. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new places and local cuisines, often inspired by the late Anthony Bourdain. Patrick's ideal vacation involves renting a flat in a new city and immersing himself in the local culture with his family. He believes that travel is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow, and he strives to make guests' experiences unforgettable.
